Connect Zoom and Windmill to bring meeting transcripts into performance conversations
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a video conferencing platform that enables remote meetings, webinars, and team collaboration. It’s where distributed teams connect face-to-face, conduct customer calls, run all-hands meetings, and maintain personal connections across time zones.
How Windmill Uses Your Zoom Integration
Windmill connects to Zoom to bring meeting context into 1:1s, recaps, and performance reviews:
- Meeting attendance tracking to understand who collaborates with whom and identify cross-functional work
- Meeting titles, owners, frequency, and participant lists for collaboration context
- Meeting transcripts and Zoom AI summaries for coaching and performance conversations
Windmill syncs meeting metadata and transcript or AI-summary text. It does not store raw audio or video, and it does not currently sync webinar data.
Benefits of the Windmill Zoom Integration
Recognize work that happens in meetings. Participation and transcript context can document collaboration, leadership, and support that task systems miss.
Reduce manual meeting summaries. Transcripts and Zoom AI summaries provide discussion context without requiring participants to recreate it later.
Ground performance conversations in real interactions. Managers can refer to actual meeting context rather than attendance counts alone.
