Connect Notion and Windmill to recognize documentation and knowledge sharing
What is Notion?
Notion is an all-in-one workspace for notes, docs, wikis, and project management. Teams use it to create knowledge bases, document processes, manage projects, and collaborate on strategic planning.
How Windmill Uses Your Notion Integration
Windmill connects to Notion to bring selected pages and document activity into recaps, 1:1s, and Windy’s context:
- Pages and edits showing contributions to docs, specs, research, and project planning
- Document context available to recaps, 1:1 prep, and Windy for the people working in the workspace
- Account connections for selected shared workspace pages that benefit all Windmill members
- Personal connections for selected private pages visible only to the person who connected them
Windmill can access only pages explicitly shared through the Notion page picker. Unselected pages remain private, and new top-level pages must be shared separately.
Benefits of the Windmill Notion Integration
Recognize documentation and planning work. Selected docs, specs, research, and project pages can contribute context that task and code systems miss.
Control exactly what is shared. The connection sees only selected pages and their subpages; unrelated pages remain inaccessible.
Reduce review preparation. Relevant document activity is available as context without managers and employees having to reconstruct it manually.
