Slack Business Analytics (formerly Slack Analytics) provides data and insights about Slack usage, engagement, and collaboration patterns across an organization.

How Windmill Uses Your Slack Business Analytics Integration

Windmill imports daily, per-person activity counts from Slack Business Analytics:

• Messages sent across channels and DMs, plus a channel-only message count
• Files and reactions added by each person
• Slack calls and huddles each person participated in
• Total activity combining messages, files, reactions, calls, and huddles

The integration uses aggregate counts only. It does not access message content, including content from private channels or DMs.

Track adoption and activity over time. Daily counts make changes in Slack usage visible without relying on one-time snapshots.

Cover activity outside Windy’s channels. Counts include public and private channels and DMs even though Windy does not join those conversations.
