Connect Roam and Windmill to bring meeting transcripts into performance conversations
What is Roam?
Roam is an AI meeting assistant that captures, transcribes, and organizes meeting content. Teams use it to automate meeting notes, track action items, and maintain meeting records.
How Windmill Uses Your Roam Integration
Windmill connects to Roam to bring recorded meeting context into Windmill:
- Meeting metadata including titles, times, and participants
- Meeting transcripts from recorded Roam meetings
- Roam user records used to map meeting activity to employees
Windmill stores transcript text, not raw audio or video. It does not sync Roam chats, direct messages, presence, lounge activity, or shared-room sessions.
Benefits of the Windmill Roam Integration
Reduce meeting prep time. Meeting metadata and transcripts can provide context for 1:1s, recaps, performance reviews, and Windy.
Preserve discussion context. Recorded conversations can be referenced without copying notes between systems.
Map context to the right people. Participant and user data connect meeting records to employee profiles.
